CHSRAHang on to your hats rodeo fans…the California High School Rodeo State Finals Championship will return to Bishop for the next six years. The California High School Rodeo State Finals first came to Bishop in 2005, the entire community hopes it never leaves! "It's a true honor that CHSRA has continued to choose Bishop as the host city for their prestigious event," explains fairgrounds CEO Jim Tatum. Top rodeo riders from each of nine regions representing all of California converge each June on the Tri-County Fairgrounds and compete to secure their spot and move on to Nationals. Approximately 300 student athletes, plus their families, friends and fans are expected to attend the weeklong event each year. If you are a die-hard rodeo fan or wanting to catch your first rodeo this is a must see event featuring California's Best of the Best!
