In February of 1953, at a meeting of directors, an official organization
was formed, bylaws adopted and a permanent plan was formed to hold
each annual fair at the current site. This year's fair is slated
for Labor Day weekend in Bishop - that's Thursday, August 30th, through
Monday, September 3rd.
