A Little History

While it's true that fairs were held in the Owens Valley as early as 1887, the events were a bit sporadic and often changed locations. In February of 1953, at a meeting of directors, an official organization was formed, bylaws adopted and a permanent plan was formed to hold each annual fair at the current site.

For well over 50 years the Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fair has been celebrating the unique arts and culture in our communities. We're proud to bring friends and family together to pay tribute to agriculture, education, traditional home arts, entertainment and good old-fashioned fun!
