Map & Directions

The Eastern Sierra Tri-County Fairgrounds is located in beautiful Bishop California where US Highway 395 meets Highway 6. From Southern California, take Highway 15 or Highway 14 North to Highway 395. Bishop is approximately 4 hours North of Riverside or 3 hours North of Lancaster.

From Reno/Lake Tahoe Area, take Highway 395 South (About 4 hours South of Reno).

From the West (Sacramento or Fresno Areas), in the summer travel through Yosemite National Park, then head south on Highway 395. In the winter, use Highway 50 through Lake Tahoe, then south on Highway 395.

From Las Vegas, travel US Highway 95 North to Highway 6. Continue on Highway 6 west to Bishop. There are shorter routes over Westgard Pass or through Death Valley National Park, but they involve winding roads and steep passes.

Yes, Bishop seems to be far from everywhere! But, ask anyone who has made the trip and they will tell you it's worth the drive! No matter which direction you are coming from, the drive itself is half the adventure. On your way, you will see some of the most beautiful sights that California has to offer. Be prepared to stay a while - many of Bishop's current residents came for a visit, but just didn't want to leave!
